It’s that time of year again where the kids are going back to school, activities are starting again, and the long, warm days of summer are changing over into the fall.
There’s a certain energy and buzz in the air. This is the energy of fall.
There is a timing to each season. A time to plant seeds, a time to harvest and a time to hibernate. Each season comes with a different energy and activities that go along with it. When you use your energy and are congruent with the energy of the season, you can create and take massive actions to change your life.
So what are some of the actions of fall? If you’ve ever gone to school, it’s the start of a new year. Your nervous system is programmed to start something new. Why not take advantage and try something new in life. Start a new workout program, change the way you eat, learn a new language, etc.
As the weather changes and gets colder, our bodies change at the same time. We start to wear warmer clothes and the heat starts to come on. Why not start internally warming up your body with more comforting foods like stews and soups. Have a cup of ginger tea.
Fall is a time for harvesting. Are there any areas of your life that you’ve been growing and it’s time to harvest what you’ve grown? Do you have a veggie garden that is giving your a lot of food? Have you been working hard on a project and are new seeing the fruits of your labour? Can you plan a new project so that next fall, you are seeing the benefits of the season?
